We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Business Solutions Analyst within a wellestablished client in the southern Wisconsin area This is a fulltime position in an a casual environment for an individual with excellent business acumen and experience with Oracle applications and programming Reporting directly to the Director of IT the Technical Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for leading the application development and support services within a mixed architecture (clientserver and webbased) This includes and is not limited to Oracle eBusiness Suite Duties include complex analysis programming and system interface development Lead resource on project justification vendor assessment selection and project scoping activities for regional business applications Will also work with the DBA to refine database designs supporting the applications Solve complex application problems to meet the needs of users Administers maintains develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring security and integrity of the companyrsquos critical business applications Duties and Responsibilities Designs reviews analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding testing debugging and installing to meet user requirements and support business application suite ndash or oversees the creation of these deliverable as required Supports Project Management on regional andor complex applicationspecific IT projects as requested ensuring consistency of approach and assurance that standard project management procedures are employed Lead the effort to ensure the organizations is aware of developments in technologies to participate in the development and implementation of long and shortterm strategic plans for application services and implementation Provide application end user support as required Requirements Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience providing application services to a regional dispersed business operation Experience with Oracle Applications Experience in providing frontline Internal Customer (User) support Excellent analytical and problem solving skills essential Excellent communications skills (listening speaking and presentation skills) Strong team player and continuous learner Experience with one or more of the following Workflow Oracle Applications tools such as Oracle Forms BPEL and SOA architecture and utilizing Oracle public APIs Oracle Report and XML Publisher Programming experience in one or more of the following technologies Structured Query Language (SQL) Programming LanguageStructured Query Language (PLSQL) Java (J2EE) Java Web Frameworks and XML
